Fort Worth & Tarrant County

Everything we fix, install, or finish.

If it's broken, loose, leaking, peeling, or still in the box — there's a good chance we handle it. Below is the full scope of handyman services Fulcrum provides across Fort Worth and Tarrant County, grouped by what kind of job it is.

Interior Repair

$150–$760

Drywall, ceilings, and the stuff that makes a room look finished again.

Drywall Repair

Holes, cracks, dents, door-knob blowouts. Texture-matched and painted so the repair disappears.

Drywall Installation

New walls, ceiling patches, and room-size scope work. Tape, mud, and finish to a paint-ready surface.

Water Damage Repair

After the leak's fixed, we handle the cosmetic repair — drywall, texture, paint — so nobody can tell it happened.

Popcorn Ceiling Removal

Scrape, skim, and refinish. Drop cloths down, plastic up, dust controlled.

Painting

$420–$3,500

Interior, exterior, cabinets, trim — prep done right, lines cut clean, estimate honored.

Interior Painting

Rooms, ceilings, hallways, whole floors. Trim taped, outlets pulled, edges crisp.

Exterior Painting

Siding, fascia, trim, doors. Pressure wash, prime, paint — weather window matters, we plan for it.

Cabinet Painting

Degrease, sand, prime, spray. Cabinet refresh at a fraction of a replacement cost.

Trim & Door Painting

Baseboards, casings, doors. Surface prep is half the job — we do it right.

Carpentry

$150–$1,200

Finish work that reads as part of the house, not a patch on it.

Trim Carpentry

Baseboard, casing, chair rail, wainscoting. Tight miters, caulked seams, nail holes filled.

Crown Molding

Rooms, halls, stepped ceilings. Coped inside corners — not mitered — for joints that don't open up.

Baseboard Installation

Replace builder-grade with a tall modern profile. Cleanest upgrade you can do for the money.

Built-in Shelving

Closet systems, window seats, office walls, alcove builds. Square, level, paint-ready.

Installation & Mounting

$150–$760

The "it's easier to pay someone" jobs. We show up with the bits, the level, and the stud finder.

TV Mounting

Any size, any wall — drywall, brick, stone fireplace. Cable concealment available.

Furniture Assembly

IKEA, Wayfair, Pottery Barn, that crib you've been dreading. Bring the box, we bring the tools.

Picture & Mirror Hanging

Gallery walls, heavy mirrors, anchor-grade security. Level first, measure twice.

Shelf Installation

Floating shelves, closet shelving, garage storage. Anchored into studs whenever possible.

Door Installation

Pre-hung or slab, interior or exterior. Square, plumb, weather-sealed.

Door Repair

Sticking doors, dropped hinges, broken strikes, failed weatherstripping. Usually a same-visit fix.

Cabinet Installation

Uppers, lowers, pantries, laundry room builds. Level, shimmed, screwed into studs.

Flooring

$150–$760

Repair, refresh, or replace. Small-scope flooring work our specialty — for whole-house flooring we refer.

Tile & Grout Repair

Cracked tile replacement, regrouting, caulking. Color-matched grout so the repair blends.

Hardwood Floor Repair

Board replacement, squeak fixes, threshold repairs. We don't do full refinishes — we'll tell you who does.

Laminate & Vinyl Plank Installation

Single rooms and small areas. Underlayment, transitions, quarter-round — handled.

Electrical — fixture-level

$150–$420

What a handyman should do: fixtures, switches, outlets. New circuits and panel work go to a licensed electrician.

Ceiling Fan Installation

Replace or new-install over a rated box. Balanced, wobble-free, quiet on high speed.

Light Fixture Installation

Chandeliers, pendants, flush-mounts, vanity lights. Properly grounded, securely anchored.

Outlet & Switch Replacement

Dead outlets, failed switches, upgrade to GFCIs, dimmer swaps. Code-respecting work.

Plumbing — fixture-level

$150–$420

Fixture swaps and visible leak repairs. Supply lines and drain reroutes go to a licensed plumber.

Faucet Replacement

Kitchen, bath, utility. Supply lines checked, angle stops replaced if needed.

Toilet Replacement

New wax ring, new bolts, proper shim. No rocking, no leaks, no ghost flushes.

Garbage Disposal Replacement

Swap a jammed or leaking unit, align the mounting ring, test under load.

Exterior & Outdoor

$150–$1,200

Keep the outside of the house as honest as the inside. Small-to-medium projects, not full rebuilds.

Deck Repair

Board replacement, railing fixes, re-staining, hardware swaps. Another season of safe use.

Fence Repair

Leaning posts, loose pickets, failed gates. Wood fence is our specialty — metal on case-by-case.

Pressure Washing

Driveways, decks, siding, fences. Right PSI for the surface — no etched concrete, no stripped wood.

Gutter Cleaning

Clear debris, check seams, verify downspouts flow. Add-on: install guards.

Packaged Services

$420–$760

Batch projects that save money when you do them together.

Honey-Do List

That list on the fridge. One visit, many small jobs. Our most-booked service for a reason.

Home Maintenance Package

Seasonal checkup — caulking, weatherstripping, gutter check, fixture tighten-up. An ounce of prevention.

Services FAQ

Scope questions people ask.

Yes. Our most-booked service is the Honey-Do List — a single visit that knocks out multiple small projects at once. Batching several small tasks into one trip usually saves on trip charges and gets your whole list done in an afternoon.
Yes, within scope. We handle fixture-level electrical (ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, switches) and fixture-level plumbing (faucets, toilets, garbage disposals). For anything beyond fixtures — new circuits, panel work, rerouting supply or drain lines — we refer you to a licensed electrician or plumber.
No. Send one list and we'll give you one written estimate covering everything. If any item needs to come off the list mid-job (wrong part, hidden damage, scope creep), we'll talk through it before continuing — no surprise charges.
We don't do roofing tear-offs, HVAC system work, new construction framing, large-scale remodels, or anything requiring a specialty trade license. If your project crosses into those areas, we'll tell you honestly and point you toward the right trade.
