Trim and carpentry in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, since 2019.

Baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscoting, and built-in shelving. Coped inside corners, tight miters, caulked seams, paint-ready. Finish work that reads as part of the house.

What we build

The four most-booked trim scopes.

Most carpentry jobs land in one of these four buckets. Each one is finish work — visible joints, tight tolerances, paint-ready when we leave.

Baseboards & Casing

New baseboard install, builder-grade upgrade to taller profiles, casing replacement around doors and windows. Coped inside corners, tight miters outside.

  • Single rooms or whole-floor
  • Builder-grade to modern profile
  • Door and window casing

Crown Molding

Single rooms, halls, stepped ceilings. Coped inside corners (not mitered) so the joints don't open up over time. Stock profiles or custom millwork for higher-end work.

  • Coped inside corners
  • Stock or custom profiles
  • Vaulted ceilings on case-by-case

Wainscoting & Accent Walls

Board-and-batten, shaker panels, picture-frame wainscoting. Single accent wall or full room treatment. Caulked, sanded, primed, paint-ready.

  • Board-and-batten
  • Shaker panel walls
  • Picture-frame wainscoting

Built-in Shelving

Closet builds, alcove shelving, window seats, garage and laundry storage. Square, level, screwed into studs, paint-ready or stain-grade as you prefer.

  • Closet systems
  • Alcove and built-in shelving
  • Window seats and benches
How it works

From profile pick to final caulk.

01

Walkthrough

Trim almost always needs an in-person measure — we look at the existing profiles, ceiling heights, and corners to spec the job correctly.

02

Estimate w/ profile spec

Written estimate names the trim profile (stock or custom), material (MDF, poplar, oak), linear footage, and whether we're painting after install or handing off paint-ready.

03

Schedule & order

Stock profiles available same-week. Custom millwork adds 1–2 weeks for the supplier. We schedule the install around the lead time.

04

Cut, cope, install

Coped inside corners, mitered outside corners, nail-set, holes filled, seams caulked, sanded smooth. Vacuumed dust before leaving.

Trim pricing

Common scopes, real ranges.

Labor only — material is listed separately on the estimate. Stock MDF baseboard runs $1–$3/lf at the supplier; stain-grade poplar or oak runs $4–$10/lf.

Trim & Carpentry Pricing

Single-room baseboard replacement $300–$420
Crown molding, single room $420–$760
Crown molding, whole floor (3–5 rooms) $760–$1,200
Wainscoting, single wall $420–$760
Built-in shelving (small alcove) $760–$1,200
Trim FAQ

What people ask about carpentry.

Cope. Coped inside corners stay tight as the trim moves with seasonal humidity; mitered inside corners open up over time and need to be re-caulked. Outside corners are mitered (45°) because that's the cleaner geometry. This is one of the small details that separates trim that lasts from trim that needs touch-ups every spring.
Default is primed MDF for paint-grade trim — stable, takes paint beautifully, fraction of the cost. Stain-grade we use poplar for indoor or hardwood (oak, maple) for visible runs the client wants to feature. We list the trim profile and material on every estimate so you know exactly what's going on the wall.
We hand off paint-ready: holes filled, seams caulked, sanded smooth, and dust-free. Most clients have us paint as part of the same engagement (we add it to the estimate as a separate line item). If you want to paint yourself or have your painter follow us, the trim is ready for primer + two coats with no extra prep needed.
Depends on ceiling height and house era. Standard 8-ft ceilings: 5–6 inch base reads modern and clean. 9–10 ft ceilings: 7–8 inch base looks proportional. Older Fort Worth homes (pre-1960) often look right with traditional 4–5 inch profiles to match the era. We bring sample profiles to the walkthrough so you can see the difference.
Yes — and it's worth doing if you're adding to a partial install or extending into a renovated room. We measure the existing profile, find the closest stock match, and if no stock match works, mill a custom profile (adds lead time and cost). For 80% of jobs, a stock profile from a Fort Worth millwork supplier matches well enough that no one notices.
