Fort Worth · Tarrant County · Since 2019

Ceiling fan and fixture installation in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, since 2019.

Fan replacement, chandelier and pendant installs, outlets, switches, and dimmer swaps. Fixture-level electrical, properly grounded, code-respecting. New circuits and panel work go to a licensed electrician — we'll tell you honestly which is which.

What we install

Fixtures, switches, and the things you swap, not rewire.

The trade line is clear: anything that connects to an existing box or switch leg is in scope. New circuits, panel work, and runs through finished walls are not — those go to a licensed electrician.

Ceiling Fan Replacement

Existing fan-rated box, swap-in. Common Fort Worth fan brands handled — Hunter, Hampton Bay, Casablanca, Minka-Aire, Big Ass Fans for Texas porches. Balanced, tested on all speeds.

  • Replace existing fan
  • Light kit included or separate
  • Remote pairing if applicable

Light Fixtures

Chandeliers, pendants, flush mounts, vanity lights, sconces. Heavy fixtures (over 50 lbs) anchored properly with appropriate hardware. Bulbs tested before we leave.

  • Chandeliers and pendants
  • Flush and semi-flush mounts
  • Bath and vanity lights

Outlets & Switches

Failed outlets, broken switches, GFCI upgrades for kitchens and baths, dimmer swaps. Proper polarity, ground checked, faceplate flush.

  • Outlet and switch replacement
  • GFCI upgrades
  • Dimmer swaps

Smart Switches & Dimmers

Lutron Caseta, TP-Link Kasa, and most smart-switch brands. Wired, app-paired, dimmer compatibility tested with your existing bulbs.

  • Lutron Caseta & Kasa
  • App pairing & basic config
  • LED dimmer compatibility test
How it works

From fixture in the box to bulb in the socket.

01

Photo or text

Send a photo of the existing fixture (or the box if there's nothing there yet) and tell us what's going up. We can estimate most fan and fixture jobs sight-unseen.

02

Estimate

Written estimate with labor, any box-upgrade material if needed, and any switch-pairing time. Smart switches add a small line for app-config time.

03

Schedule

Most fan and fixture jobs book within the week. Multi-fixture visits we schedule when we have a half-day opening.

04

Wire, mount, test

Power off at breaker, wires connected with proper terminals, fixture mounted, ground confirmed, breaker back on, every speed and switch tested.

Fixture pricing

Common scopes, real ranges.

Labor only — fixture and any box-upgrade hardware listed separately on the estimate. Fixture cost depends on what you pick (a basic flush mount can be $40, a designer chandelier can be $400+).

Ceiling Fan & Fixture Pricing

Ceiling fan replacement (existing rated box) $150
New ceiling fan w/ box upgrade $200–$300
Light fixture swap $150
Chandelier install (heavy or two-story) $200–$300

Fixture FAQ

What people ask about fans and fixtures.

For fixture-level work — replacing a fan, swapping a light fixture, changing outlets and switches — no, a handyman is the right trade. For new circuits, panel work, rewiring, or anything that involves opening up a wall to run new electrical, you need a licensed electrician. We'll tell you honestly which side of the line your project falls on, and we have a few Fort Worth electricians we refer for the licensed work.
Most older Fort Worth homes have light-only boxes that can't support a fan's weight or vibration. We replace the box with a fan-rated one — this is a small extra cost on the estimate (typically $40–$60 in materials plus 20 minutes of labor) and makes the difference between a fan that hangs there for 15 years and one that loosens itself off the ceiling. We won't install a fan on a non-rated box.
Yes — Lutron Caseta, TP-Link Kasa, and most other smart switch brands. We wire them, configure the basic on/off, and walk through the app setup with you before we leave. For Lutron Caseta, we test the dimmer compatibility with your existing bulbs (LED dimmers can be picky) and swap bulbs if needed before declaring done.
If there's accessible attic space above the ceiling, sometimes — we can fish wire from a nearby switch, install a fan-rated box, and add a wall switch. This crosses into electrician territory if it requires a new circuit or significant wire runs through finished walls. We assess on a walkthrough and tell you whether it's a handyman job or something for an electrician.
Replacement (existing fan-rated box): about 1 hour. New install requiring a box upgrade: 1.5–2 hours. Multi-fan visits run faster per unit because we batch the prep — a four-fan install in one visit is typically 4–5 hours total. Each fan is balanced and tested on all speeds before we move to the next.
